ALL players must register individually. Players may only register once, thus may only play on one team throughout the season.
ALL 2nd-3rd grade teams will be created by the league. If you are coaching 4th-6th grade AND submitting a roster of players, please ensure all names are spelled correctly. By completing this form, you are signing up to coach a team this upcoming season and adhere to BSYBL coach responsibilities & conduct.
2022 BSYVL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
Registration fee is $105, plus processing fee. Each player that registers will receive a full uniform and eligibility to participate in the BSYVL season.
In 2nd and 3rd Grade Divisions, players may only register individually. No pre-determined rosters.
In 4th, 5th and 6th Grade Divisions, players may register as a team or individually. Teams will have a 10 player cap. All players will however complete Player Registration the same. Coaches may submit predetermined roster of players.
The League will consist of the following Girls Divisions:
2nd Grade 3rd Grade 4th Grade 5th Grade 6th Grade |
Grade levels are based upon the grades players will be in as of the start of League play. In order to be eligible to play in the League, a girl must be in at least the 2nd grade as of the start of League play.
Eligible girls may “play up” a grade level (e.g., a 3rd grade girl may register to play in a 4th Grade division), but may not “play down” (e.g., a 4th grade girl may not register to play in a 3rd Grade division).
Established in 2018, operating at facilities in the Harrisburg School District, Big Sioux Youth Volleyball is open to girls who will be in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade.
The sport of volleyball is defined as a game played by volleying an inflated ball over a net. However, to many young athletes nation-wide, this sport is so much more. It’s a safe and fun place to spend time with friends while achieving a common goal. It’s an outlet to compete and learn from successes and failures. It’s an environment that encourages teamwork, cooperation, and perseverance.
